Il Ciglione della Malpensa non porta bene ai due piloti del team KTM Silver Action Nicola Bertuzzi e Yuri Quarti.
Nicola Bertuzzi CI Prestige MX1-MX2 Malpensa
Assente Gianluca Faccheti perchè impegnato nell’Europeo per Nazioni, il Team KTM Silver Action è sceso a Malpensa per la penultima prova dell’Italiano Prestige, con Nicola Bertuzzi e Yuri Quarti. Le prove cronometrate sono andate bene per entrambi i piloti. Nel gruppo 1 Quarti stacca il settimo tempo mentre Bertuzzi nel gruppo 2 è terzo a 643 millesimi da Lapucci che ha fatto il miglior crono.
Al via di gara uno Bertuzzi rimane coinvolto in una caduta di gruppo. Riparte ultimissimo e con un gran ritmo taglia il traguardo ventunesimo. Yuri Quarti è diciottesimo al primo rilevamento cronometrico ed anche lui con un ottimo passo gara, fa una rimonta che lo porta al nono posto finale.
Nella seconda frazione sembra che le cose vadano meglio. Sia Quarti che Bertuzzi fanno una buona partenza ed entrano nella TOP TEN. Quarti conquista sesta posizione, Bertuzzi la settima. I due viaggiano in coppia per sei giri poi Yuri accusa un problema alla moto e deve ritirarsi.

Nicola tiene la quinta piazza e si difende molto bene dagli attacchi di Matteo Bonini, ma a quattro giri dal termine, una sassata gli danneggia irrimediabilmente gli occhiali ed è costretto a prendere la via dei box.
Non è certamente un periodo molto fortunato. Tra infortuni e piccoli problemi, il finale di stagione del Team KTM Silver Action sta raccogliendo meno di quello che è nel suo potenziale. Però, come spesso accade, dopo la tempesta arriva sempre il sole e speriamo che già dalla prossima prova dell’Italiano Prestige, in programma a Città di Castello il 23 settembre, si possano festeggiare risultati migliori.

Malpensa round did not go well for Nicola Bertuzzi e Yuri Quarti
Team Silver Action went to Malpensa, for the second to last round of the Italian Prestige Championship, with Nicola Bertuzzi and Yuri Quarti only, as Gianluca Facchetti was racing in the Nations European Championship. Timed Practice went well for both riders. In Group 1 Quarti was 7th, while in Group 2 Bertuzzi was 3rd with only 643 thousandths of a second of gap from Lapucci, who made the fastest lap time.
At the start of Race 1 Bertuzzi was involved in a group crash. He restarted in last place and, with a great pace, managed to finish 21st. Yuri Quarti was 18th after the first lap and he moved up to the 9th place showing some good pace too.
In Race 2 things seemed to be better. Both Quarti and Bertuzzi made a good start as they were in the Top Ten. Quarti was 6th, Bertuzzi 7th. They raced together for six laps, then Yuri suffered an issue with his bike and he had to retire. Nicola, instead, was defending his 5th place very well from Matteo Bonini’s attacks, but when there were four laps to go, a rock damaged his goggles and he was forced to go to the box.
It is certainly not a lucky moment. Through little issues and injures, Team Silver Action is collecting less good results than it could. As they say, though, after a storm there is always the sun and we hope that since the next round of the Italian Prestige Championship, which is scheduled on the 23rd of September at Città di Castello, we will already celebrate better performances.
