Start Time – La gara di Riola Sardo (OR), prima tappa degli Internazionali d’Italia MX EICMA 2019, segna non solo il ritorno alle competizioni nel continente europeo ma anche alcuni importantissimi debutti per piloti che si trovano ad affrontare per la prima volta una competizione in sella alla nuova moto.

Tra questi in MX1 spiccano il debutto sulla Husqvarna FC 450 di Arminas Jasikonis, passato al team Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory, mentre, a causa di una bronchite, è rimandato quello di Jeremy Seewer in sella alla YFZ 450 del team Monster Energy Yamaha Factory di Michele Rinaldi; il pilota svizzero dovrebbe comunque essere in pista ad Ottobiano. Torna in blu Gautier Paulin, che è in cerca di riscatto sulla Yamaha del team Monster Energy Wilvo MXGP; anche per il suo connazionale Benoit Paturel si tratterà di esordire su una nuova moto. Il simpatico transalpino sarà alla guida della Kawasaki KXF 450 del team Gebben Van Venrooy Kawasaki.

Passando alla MX2, saranno i due nuovi acquisti del team Honda 114 Motorsport gestito dalla campionessa del mondo Livia Lancelot; Pichon e Evans ad esordire nella squadra francese. Per Zachary, figlio del pluri-iridato Michael, si tratta di capire se, dopo una prima stagione di ambientamento, possa raccogliere i frutti degli insegnamenti paterni, mentre sarà interessante osservare all’opera l’australiano Evans, dopo le belle cose fatte vedere in America a settembre in occasione del Motocross delle Nazioni, quando sorprese molti cogliendo un decimo ed un quattordicesimo posto nella classe Open, contribuendo all’ottimo quarto posto assoluto dell’Australia. Debutto in sella alla Yamaha YFZ 250 del team Yamaha Ghidinelli per Samuele Bernardini, che torna alla moto giapponese dopo la lunga permanenza in TM.

La prima gara dell’anno sarà importante anche per due dei più promettenti talenti Azzurri che sono passati quest’anno a gareggiare con una quattro tempi: Mattia Guadagnini, sarà in sella all’Husqvarna FC 250 del team Madii, mentre Emilio Scuteri guiderà la KTM 250 SX F gestita dal Team Celestini Junior.

In pista anche il trio delle meraviglie del Gran Premio delle Nazioni di Red Bud, con Tony Cairoli, Alessandro Lupino eMichele Cervellin che dopo aver portato in patria l’incredibile argento dagli Stati Uniti, saranno impegnati nelle tre prove degli Internazionali d’Italia, Riola Sardo (OR), Ottobiano (PV) e Mantova.

Appuntamento allora il 27 Gennaio sul circuito “Le Dune” di Riola Sardo (OR) per scoprire chi sarà il protagonista della settima edizione della gara sarda, soprattutto contando che il numero di piloti in grado di dare l’assalto al podio è sempre elevatissimo, con una miriade di titoli iridati al via della prima gara dell’anno.
