Siamo a poco più di una settimana dal finale di stagione della MXGP a Imola, in Italia, dopo 19 round del FIM Motocross World Championship.

Ieri si è tenuta una conferenza stampa di presentazione presso l’Autodromo Internazionale Enzo & Dino Ferrari per l’imminente MXGP d’Italia che ospiterà.

La presentazione è stata fatta ai media locali e nazionali insieme al consiglio comunale di Imola, alla polizia locale, ai rappresentanti della federazione italiana (FMI), della Formula Imola e dell’organizzatore locale dell’evento.

Il presidente dell’Autodromo, Boris Casadio, ha ospitato l’evento con gli ospiti Uberto Selvatico Estense, il presidente di Formula Imola , il pilota WMX Kiara Fontanesi, il pilota mondiale SBK Marco Melandri e Maurizio Lelli, l’assessore allo sport e gli eventi per la città di Imola mentre Antonio Cairoli e Jorge Prado del team Red Bull KTM Factory Racing si sono uniti da casa via Skype durante le loro sessioni di allenamento.

Gli ospiti sul palco hanno condiviso il loro entusiasmo per l’ultima tappa del campionato 2018 sul famoso circuito italiano. Kiara Fontanesi ha espresso la sua gioia di correre vicino a casa e di fronte al pubblico italiano per il round finale dove correrà per un altro titolo WMX. Jorge Prado, che si batterà per il suo primo titolo MX2 in poco più di una settimana, ha detto che avrà autobus provenienti dalla Spagna per vederlo partecipare all’evento.

Concludendo con un aperitivo, gli ospiti e i media hanno fatto visita al tracciato dando così il loro primo sguardo su come sono stati spostati 25.000 metri cubi di terra in 11 giorni da più di 250 persone che lavoravano sul posto.

È stato inoltre sottolineato il fatto che la sede ha ospitato il motocross internazionale oltre 70 anni fa e il prossimo venerdì, prima del GP, sarà inaugurata una galleria di 80 moto e foto d’epoca, compresa la moto nata ad Imola e campione del mondo 500cc del 1999 con Andrea Bartolini .

Imola Hosts Presentation Press Conference

We are now just over a week away from the MXGP season finale in Imola, Italy after 19 rounds of FIM Motocross World Championship racing. Today a presentation press conference was held at the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo & Dino Ferrari for the upcoming MXGP of Italy which it will host.

The presentation was made to onsite national and local media along with Imola City council, local police, representatives of the Italian federation (FMI), Formula Imola, the local organizer for the event.

Speaker of the Autodromo, Boris Casadio, hosted the event with guests Uberto Selvatico Estense the President of Formula Imola, WMX Rider Kiara Fontanesi, World SBK Rider Marco Melandri, and Maurizio Lelli, the Assessor of Sport and Events for the City of Imola on stage while Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’sAntonio Cairoli and Jorge Prado joined from home via Skype from their training sessions.

The guests on stage shared their excitement to have the last stop of the 2018 Championship at the famous Italian circuit. Kiara Fontanesi expressed her joy to be racing close to home and in front of the Italian crowd for the final round where she will go for another WMX title. Jorge Prado, who will be fighting for his first ever MX2 title in just over a week mentioned that he will have busses of fans coming from Spain to see him participate in the event.

Ending with an aperitif the guests and media made a visit to the track giving many their first look at the track building where 25,000 cubic meters of soil has been moved in 11 days by more than 250 people working onsite.

Also highlighted was the fact that the venue hosted international motocross over 70 years ago and next Friday, prior to the GP, a gallery of 80 vintage bikes and photos will be inaugurated including the bike of Imola native and 1999 500cc World Champion Andrea Bartolini.
