JWR Yamaha Racing è lieta di confermare che inseguirà la gloria nella classe EMX250 del Campionato Mondiale FIM Motocross 2019, dopo aver messo sotto contratto Tim Edberg per la prossima stagione.

Edberg ha affrontato un finale di stagione difficile, poiché gli infortuni hanno limitato il tempo trascorso in pista, ma è pronto a ritornare con l’aiuto del team supportato da 24MX .

Tim Edberg ha goduto del successo nella classe EMX125 un anno fa, quando ha lottato per le posizioni sul podio e ha accumulato una notevole quantità di esperienza nonostante alcune lesioni minori. Edberg ha quindi scelto di passare alla classe EMX250 all’inizio del precedente mandato, nel tentativo di imparare il più possibile, ma ha dovuto affrontare diverse lesioni. Ora che è al cento per cento e si è stabilito nell’ambiente confortevole di una squadra svedese, ha la testa bassa e sta testando il round di apertura dell’EMX250 a marzo.

Tim Edberg: “Sono davvero felice di unirmi al team JWR Yamaha Racing, in quanto sarà il mio terzo anno con Yamaha Europe. Sono entusiasta di trovarmi in una squadra svedese poiché, essendo svedese, mi rende tutto più facile. Ho avuto alcuni anni difficili, in particolare quest’anno, quando sono stato fuori dalle corsa per quasi tutta la stagione a causa di infortuni, ma spero di avere una grande pre stagione e di lavorare con i miei nuovi compagni di squadra per essere pronti quando la stagione EMX250 inizierà. Credo davvero che Johan [Westermark] abbia gli strumenti necessari per avere successo e non vedo l’ora di iniziare a lavorare con tutto il gruppo! “

Tim Edberg moves to JWR Yamaha Racing

JWR Yamaha Racing is pleased to confirm that they will chase glory in the EMX250 division in the 2019 FIM Motocross World Championship, after signing Tim Edberg for the upcoming campaign. Edberg has faced a tricky term, as injuries restricted the amount of time that he spent on track, but he is keen to rebound with the help of the 24MX-powered team.

Tim Edberg enjoyed success in the EMX125 class a year ago, as he battled for podium positions and gained a significant amount of experience whilst pushing through minor injuries. Edberg then elected to move into the EMX250 class at the beginning of the previous term, in an effort to learn as much as possible, but faced multiple injuries. Now that he is one hundred percent and settled into the comfortable surroundings of a Swedish team, he has his head down and is testing for the opening round of EMX250 in March.

Tim Edberg: “I am really happy to join the JWR Yamaha Racing team, as this will be my third year with Yamaha Europe. I am stoked to find myself in a Swedish team as, being from Sweden, that makes everything easier for me. I have had some difficult years, especially this year when I was out of racing for almost the whole season due to injuries, but I hope to have a great off-season and work with my new teammates to be ready when the EMX250 season starts. I really believe that Johan [Westermark] has the tools needed for me to succeed and I cannot wait to start working with the whole group!”

I have watched Tim Edberg for many years now and strongly believe that he can achieve great things when the new season begins.
