Ciò significa che anche lui salterà tutta la stagione 2018 del Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship. La sua assenza va a sommarsi a quelle già annunciate dei piloti Adam Cianciarulo, Martin Davalos e Cooper Webb. Di seguito il messaggio che il pilota ha pubblicato sul suo profilo Instagram.

“La brutta notizia e che ieri mentre provavo all’aperto sul tracciato di Glen Helen, un tracciato affollato, stavo soprassando un pilota più lento e lui si è spostato a mezz’aria su di me e io ho incrociato la sua traiettoria. Ho colpito la sua ruota posteriore e ho messo la gamba fuori e il piede ha toccato il terreno davvero forte per non cadere però ho sentito cedere il mio ginocchio. Dopo i risultati MRI ho saputo di aver strappato il mio ACL e dovrò sottopormi ad un intervento chirurgico. Non posso crederci, proprio ora che mi sentivo bene per il National e pronto per un nuovo inizio della stagione all’aperto, qualcosa di completamente fuori dal mio controllo come ciò è accaduto. Sono estremamente deluso. Farò tutto ciò che è in mio potere per tornare ancora più forte, sia che io rimanga dove sono o che lo faccia da solo. So di cosa sono capace. Grazie a tutti per il supporto. “

After MRI results I have torn my ACL and will require surgery. I can’t believe this, just as I was feeling good for outdoors and ready for a fresh start with the outdoor season and something completely out of my control like this happens. I’m Completely gutted. I’ll do everything in my power to come back from this even stronger, whether I remain where I’m at or do it on my own. I know what I’m capable of.
