Dopo il grande successo della prima tappa a Riola (OR), gli Internazionali d’Italia SDV Series si spostano in terra siciliana per il secondo round.
La pista di Noto, dove, quattro anni dopo la prima edizione, si torna a correre una gara degli Internazionali è pronta ad accogliere uomini e mezzi, oltre che il pubblico delle grandi occasioni. Il circuito, che sorge all’interno del Cross Park Gino Meli, pochi chilometri a sud di Siracusa, è stato profondamente rivisitato; il tracciato è stato reso più tecnico e spettacolare ed è pronto per ricevere il meglio dei piloti del Mondiale Motocross 250 e 450 e i giovani riders della 125.
Grande attenzione è stata riservata anche al pubblico che in questa edizione potrà usufruire di maggiori spazi per seguire i propri idoli dal vivo. E’ stata realizzata una grande tribuna naturale, pronta ad ospitare i tanti appassionati, alla quale si aggiungono tribune allestite per l’occasione ed una speciale tribuna nei pressi della pit-lane, dedicata a chi vorrà assistere da una posizione privilegiata a tutto ciò che avviene dentro e fuori dal tracciato.
Grande attesa ovviamente per l’idolo di casa e di tutti i fan italiani del motocross, Tony Cairoli, che dopo aver dominato il primo appuntamento in terra sarda, si appresta a sbarcare nella sua Sicilia, per ricevere l’abbraccio caloroso dei suoi conterranei. A Riola il nove volte Campione del Mondo non poteva iniziare meglio il 2018. TC222 ha imposto la sua legge, risultando il più veloce ed efficace pilota in pista ad ogni occasione ma ora il campionato entra nel vivo e i suoi avversari sono pronti a dare battaglia per il montepremi finale di 120.000€, messo in palio nella Supercampione, categoria che vede in gara i top 20 della MX2 e della MX1, in una sfida adrenalinica ed apertissima.
Non solo Cairoli a Noto però, visto il parco partenti di altissimo livello in tutte le categorie, con i piloti della MXGP e del mondiale MX2 in gara per prepararsi al meglio in vista dell’imminente primo Gran Premio dell’anno ed i giovanissimi della 125 decisi a mettersi in luce davanti al caloroso pubblico siciliano, capitanati da Emilio Scuteri e Mattia Guadagnini, che arrivano a pari punti in classifica di campionato, dopo la bella e divertente gara di Riola.

2018 INTERNATIONAL MOTOCROSS ITALY SERIES – #ROUND 2 – NOTO (SR)
After the great success of the first stage in Riola (OR), the Italian international SDV series moved to Sicily for the second round. Four years after the first edition the series is back on the track of Noto, that is ready to welcome men and vehicles, as well as the public of great occasions. The circuit, which is located inside the Cross Park Gino Meli, a few kilometres south of Siracusa, has been deeply revisited; the track has been made more technical and spectacular and is ready to receive the best riders of the 250 and 450 Motocross World Championship and the young riders of the 125.
Great attention has also been paid to the public that in this edition can take advantage of more space to follow live their own idols. A large natural tribune has been created, ready to host the many fans, to which are added for the occasion other tribunes and a special forum one, close to the pit-lane, dedicated to those who want to assist from a privileged position to all that it takes place inside and outside the track.
Great expectation of course for the home idol, Tony Cairoli, who after having dominated the first round in Sardinia, is preparing to land in his Sicily, to receive the warm embrace of his fellows citizen. In Riola, the nine-time World Champion could not have started the 2018 better. TC222 has imposed its law, making it the fastest and most efficient rider on track at every time but now the championship is coming alive and its opponents are ready to fight for the final prize of € 120,000 of the Supercampione, a category that mix the top 20 of MX2 and MX1, racing together in an adrenalinic and very open challenge.
Not only Cairoli will attend the round of Noto, with the list of the starting riders at the highest level in all categories, with the MXGP and MX2 World Championship riders in the race to prepare for the upcoming first Grand Prix of the year and the young guns of the 125 ready to shine in front of the warm Sicilian public, led by Emilio Scuteri and Mattia Guadagnini, who came on equal points in the championship standings, after the beautiful and fun race in Riola.
